There is something about taking a relatively mediocre old bicycle and making it look like something way fancier that it is. I try this repeatedly with not nearly as much success as this person. The stamped Heron chainwheel and cottered cranks lead me to believe this was probably a Raleigh Sports or other lower end model. The Butchered Brooks, the ultra-retro handlebars, the High flange hubs...all the way down to the stainless steel water bottle. It's a perfect build. Check out the rest of the pics and details here.
